Savannah area, water is smelly, muddy, assloads of gnats. Was stationed nearby, hated it.

 

Yeah, but you can ride year-round. 4 months of the year here the roads are covered in snow-melt slime that is corrosive as hell to aluminum wheels, and that's when it's not sub-freezing temps. Can't wait to move ...

We're having an beautiful fall here in the Colorado Rockies. Still nice enough to ride even though its getting chilly. It won't be long though before we start getting snow and the only riding will be in the city from Starbucks to Starbucks or out East into nothing but straight roads with pastures as scenery...

When I retire, its off to Northern AZ or as much as I dislike Kalifornia, it may be Kalifornia where I can ride year-round...

Actually broke out the chaps this morning up here in the Panhandle, beautiful out but upper 40's. Felt great!

 

32 when I left the house this morning and yes, I had the chaps on along with other items. LOL

 

Growing up in Michigan, I'll take this Panhandle winter any day! Upper 40's this morning, sunny and 70 by the afternoon. :-)
