Due to a bad hip that will be replaced next month, I can't make Biketoberfest, my favorite rally. As the OP started - great time of year to be riding in Florida. Sigh...

 

Just moved back to FL after 4 hers away. Great riding weather now. Really hate that I can no longer legally white line it. But I do love the freedom of no helmet.

My chick's band is playing this year at the Thunderbeach Rally - Show Me Dragon. It's going to be a great time!

You gotta be freakin' kidding. I've shoveled enough of the white **** to last a lifetime - - 4 more years until I can retire to Arizona.

 

That's me all day long. I don't care how hot it gets, or how much I sweat - I don't have to shovel it, and that's all that matters.

Headed for a weekend in the Smokies with my sons and their bikes - can't wait!

For me there's only 2 months a year I don't care to ride in Florida. August heat and the month just before Easter when the roads are full of tourists.

 

Definitely my favorite time of year.

 

We just got back last week from 2 months in Illinois. August and September was almost as hot up there! The roads up there were HORRIBLE. Florida may be hot but at least there are not huge pot holes 6 inches deep!

 

I hear ya! Moved down from PA 4 years ago, the roads here especially on the west coast are smooth as glass compared to the NE.
And not having to deal with snow and ice 5 mos out of the year I'll take the heat any day.
Riding everyday is the nuts, and yes we are coming into the best riding weather of the year.
