I turn 72 next month, and still on my '09 Ultra. The trips are a little shorter and the mileage a little less but still going. I retired two years ago from flying one of these contraptions. Keeping going, keeps you going.

Let's keep this thread going I know there are more 70++ riders
out there....Let's show the young guns we are still here and not
out of riding.

As a side note one of my best bud's just got back from GrandCanyon on his 2016 HD Electra GlideTrike - He's a young un early 60's with 2 bad knee's. I'm anxious to hear how he did on that Trike. I've seen more trike's the last year than I have in the last 10 years. Not a thing wrong with riding one of them IMHO

I turn 71 in a couple mounths. I just got back to riding one year ago. I wasn't sure how it would go but just heard the call yo get back onto a bike. I bought a MG V7 to start and I just grin all the while I'm riding. I am now thinking of adding a low rider and the folks on this forum have been great with suggestions. Stop thinking about age. If you can do it, then do it. I personally think the major difference between us and a 40 year old is that things like changes in our health happen quickly. But why wait around waiting for that change which will take you off of riding. Just ride until it happens.
I personaly still like the joke about the old bull and the young bull on the hill looking down at the cows.
Ride safe.

As one of the younger "Geezers" at 66, got back into riding after a 20 year lapse.
Presently own an XL883 and last week bought an XR1200X. That baby puts the sport in sportster.

Turned 70 last May ... still riding my Street Glide. I once heard a guy say "As long as I can get a leg over it ... I'm going to ride it ... "

Sounds good to me.

I'll be 63 this year. This thread gives me a lot of hope that I will be riding for a long time. Wish I could put the miles on the bikes that some of you are doing. Hopefully when I retire my mileage will significantly increase.
