Untied basketball sneakers on a Harley?

I agree, that is the reason I make the inside loop kind of small and put the end of the laces under the laces on top of the shoe.

Poor guy, he probably don't have any friends like you guys that told him he has to look like a pirate to ride. What the heck is wrong with him, everyone knows you can't wear basketball shoes on a harley. Jeez, we should take up a collection so he can get some of the proper safety equipment like a half helmet, bandanna, and some Levi's along with proper engineer boots, you know the ones with a buckle.
I have a photo of my dad on his new '67 Ducati 350, wearing boat shoes, T-shirt, no socks, high pants, no helmet and a cig hanging out of his mouth. He rode Harley's with me until age 77, and the only thing he changed in his "costume" was, he began wearing boots and a helmet. He's 84 now. Everyone to thier own, I say.

I would have loved to ride Harley's with my Dad, and he could have dressed anyway he liked!!

I've had this happen. Once. Thankfully I was rolling up to a red light and was able to get it un-looped and my weight shifted to put my right foot down instead. That was the last time I rode to the gym, (or anywhere for that matter), in sneakers.
