Another vote for RedWing, if they're still made in the U.S.A. Mine were.

Russell Moccasin makes motorcycle boots. http://www.russellmoccasin.com/ They are hand made for each buyer. You take about 50 measurements of your feet and send off the order. I have a pair and they are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. They are pricey but worth every penny in my opinion.

I wouldn't overreact and throw the towel in on Cruiserworks. I bought my boots last year after the company had been sold. I got my boots right away and they are top quality and very comfortable. Sometimes these things happen and companies run out of stock. I don't know if you were emailing them or calling them, but I'd call them. They were great with any questionI had when I was buying my boots. Stick with Cruiserworks and you won't be sorry.

I have Cruiserworks, the wife has Cruiserworks, they are the best riding boots I have ever owned, and my personal dealings with the company were great.

The wife's first pair leaked, and we sent them back. She had a new pair in a week.

As far as HD boots. I have had 2 pair and both have ran over at the heels, they are heavy and uncomfortable, and I would never get another pair.

I wear a pair of Chippewah lace up boots I got at Cavenders Western Wear. Good riding boots and extremely comfortable. I think I paid about $100 for them.
