This is the first bike I have had with it, prior to this I figured if I had it I may only use it on long rides to give my hand a break. What I found out after having it is I use it every chance I get. Obviously not in traffic or bad road conditions but when I am cruising on the open road I love it.
For me it is the greatest thing on the Natchez Trace, I ride on the Trace several times a week which has a 50 MPH limit its not hard to be cruising along and look down and see your going 60+. With the cruise I can lock it in on 50-53 or so and not worry

I have a thumb operated throttle lock and I use it a LOT. Best $30 I ever spent.

I tried it out to see if it worked and it did. Haven't used it since.

I had it installed before I took delivery of the bike when I bought it in 2007 new. I use it all the time.

Lol at the wannabe non-conformists that claim they never use it. You guys are such old school rebels.

I think cruise control is like a microwave.
Do you have to have it? no.
But if you have it you're going to use it.

I have it on my 2016 Softail Slim S.

Honestly, have never used it. I have this preconception that it will lull me into a state of inattention...

All the time. Right hand goes numb if I hold throttle for long periods.
