Loud pipes
i work for a resturant down town it is located under some high dollar apatments, anyway i park on a city street in front of where i work. I get off at 11 and i start the bike letting the heads get warm and this guy comes out says he is a off duty police officer does security for the apatments and had 3 phone calls about the reving engine, now the bike was at an idle and i am not an engine rever by nature it sounds good at idle and normal cruising so what i can't ride to work now?

You don't have to sit there and let the heads warm up. Maybe you weren't revving it, but you were obviously there long enough for 3 people to call and complain.
Start it up, run for a few seconds and get the hell out of there at the lowest revs you can. But only if you want to be considerate. If not, I doubt there's much he can do to you.

I was thinking the same thing. What are the chances he's not a cop either. I can believe "security" but that really doesn't mean squat.
