Which ones would YOU want to move first?
Pulling money out of investment accounts returning 6%-7%-8% to pay cash for a toy, instead of borrowing at 2.5% is always stupid. Unless you're so wealthy that it doesn't matter.

If a $30k-$40k loan for a toy prevents you from taking out a loan for real estate or business ventures, you didn't have enough credit for either.

I can write a check for a CVO. I don't hate. I don't like the 2018 Touring models. Sorry. Won't be buying one.

Nothing there to tempt me to move away from my '15.

It doesn't prevent ME from doing anything; my toys and properties are paid for. I've borrowed money for toys in the past when I had the money in the bank but I haven't borrowed money since 2009, so I don't know what loan rates are now, and I don't really care.

I had my checkbook open when I bought my '15. Then the dealer offered me 0.99%. Which is, of course, less than half the rate of inflation.

Done.

But, as always, different strokes.

If I had won the Powerball on Wednesday, I would have been at my dealer this weekend buying that sweet 2018 CVO Road Glide at whatever they were asking. But since I didn't, I can't see myself paying $40k+ for a bike. But it is sweet in that two-tone black (black earth and vivid black) with the orange accents.

Just my not so humble opinion but I don't think anyone really GAS whether or not any of us can pay cash for a bike, car or anything else or what we think of their financial strategies. I assume if someone is here looking for financial advice, they'll ask for it.

Some of you you really need to get over yourselves.

That's it.

If I won the powerball, I would buy a few Harley dealers and charge everyone $5K over MSRP and make even more money.

I honestly can not believe that anyone would pay $5K OVER MSRP for a toy that has ZERO collectible value.
You must not of been around in the 90s?
