Schuberth C4 helmet....anybody using one?
Greetings,
Currently running a C3 (non Pro) Schuberth. It took a bit to break in, but it is the nicest helmet I've ever used. Was at Revzilla last weekend and got to try one of the new C4's on my head. Fit was really good and the eyeport was excellent. However $749 is really steep for a helmet (thought the C3 was expensive, but wow). I understand it comes prewired for a Schuberth communication setup. Curious if anyone is using this helmet and their thoughts on it.
As a side note, my wife has been looking for new modular helmet. She has an old Shoei Multitec (if it matters, I also had a Multitec that got wrecked in a crash....it worked well and saved my jaw and face). We both liked the Neotec, but have become spoiled with the quick release chin strap as found on the Schuberth and Nolan helmets (we both have the N43). Amazing how an otherwise excellent helmet is now off the list of a potential buy since it doesn't have the quick release chin strap. Ehhhh, whatever.

I'm interested in this thread...I have a C-3 that I like, but the overall quality for a higher priced helmet is a bit disappointing. Some material sewn in on the bottom of the chin strap has come loose and the helmet seems to be a bit louder than when it was new.
I also have a Neotech that I like as well...it has better air flow but the wind noise is noticeably louder and the helmet is slightly heavier and the shield is more difficult to raise and lower and not nearly as smooth as the C-3.
Maybe the new C-4 is gonna' be better or maybe get a new C-3 Pro for less money if it's a quieter helmet... I dunno.
Edited: The reviews on Revzilla are NOT very good...seems a common complaint is the helmet is too noisy. I'm gonna pass and maybe wait for some better discounts on the C-3 Pro helmet.
