I have a lot of respect for those female M8 riders. Good women, every one.

you want chrome, get a Deluxe. they don't have to drench every bike they make in blinding brightwork.

Agree. This one remains true. Looks every bit a Harley. Nice subtle tech refinements, affordable.
no... I like the bike I was just saying peaple will complain about the lack of the 114 and no sec brake? That's the sort of thing the name implies... If I was in the market and I could only have one bike this would be a great bike... I have a buddy that put a bat wing on a switch back, made a pretty cool bike and this is a step up from his bike for sure...

I like its looks, especially naked...reminds me of my old Super Glide...but I think it would be more interesting with mid controls.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Man, these forum riders (writers?) are getting to ne a whiney bunch. I bout new a 1990 FXRT and also owned a 1991 FLHS. Is the Sport Glide exactly like those two - no. If that's what you need start looking on Ebay. I had an announcement in my email today about the new Sport Glide and it looked pretty good in all black with chrome, IMO. Forum members are always going on about how tney have modified their bikes - what's different about the Sport Glide? Maybe a Kawasaki would suit you better?

It is not just that it lacks the 114, proper brakes on a bike that weighs 700+ lbs and has forward controls, (nothing sport about it) it just reeks of the same old re hashed stuff out of the moco, the bike is an afterthought, parts bin special.

They won't sell. May not be as a big a flop as the switchback but in this market...oh boy!
