Naa, they wouldn't harass me because I'd tell them to go "Eff" themselves.

You should take the"Hipster" out back and have a "talk" with them.

Had a group of little kids stick their fingers in their ears and gave me nasty looks while I was warming up the bike in front of my house. Does that count as harassment?

Last I knew, kids don't make the rules... well, for some people I guess.

Did anyone ever consider that they ( the moaners, groaners and complainers ) are just plain jealous?

Now that ya mention it, whenever you are having too much fun, someone always complains. Been that way as far back as I can remember.

To the OP:

Your loud pipe may be fun to you but not to everyone else. So the key is to have fun but keep the fun for yourself and not "sharing" it with everyone else.

Think about a neighbor next to you enjoying playing drums (and he plays loud), how would you like it ?

When I leave my house early in the morning (and my bike is not loud at all), I push it out to the open road and then I start the engine. My neighbors appreciate that.

I'm the 1st house in the Subdivision, but my address is on the main road.
I had a snow plow truck and used to plow the intersection where you pull out.
Have a massive snow blower now. (cheaper )
Much easier to pull out onto a 50 mph road in traffic when the road is clear .
Bus stop is also on my corner and I do an extra area for the kiddo's.

I started plowing the foot of the neighbors driveways after the county come's thru and plows the street...... heavy packed snow, pain in the *** to shovel..... but took seconds with my truck.

My neighbors don't complain about anything.........
Heck they bring me baked goods at Christmas !!

Had 7 bikes and 5 trucks here for that MMA Vs boxing match this summer.
It ended pretty late, and some noise was made...

I asked the neighbors if it woke anyone up........ No complaints
(Also invited them)

Why don't you have a BBQ and invite the neighbor over.....offer him a beer or something........... let him sit on your bike and take a pic........
He might catch the bug and join you !

...or the OP is rude, self-centered, & inconsiderate.
