Default ‘98 Fatboy oil

Fatboy’s been running good, I serviced fluids at 29k and I’m at 31k now. Checking the dipstick, the fluid barely came past the first indent. I can see oil in the reservoir. I’m planning on doing a change at 32k. Am I reading my dipstick correctly?

Water condensation. Plain and simple. The engine must run for 30 miles to get up to operating temp and burn off just the initial moisture of a cold start up.
