Just tossing out a thought here...... possibly the recommended amount is the minimum amount needed to get a full covering/working product. Anything less may leave the layer too thin preventing it from sealing or self balancing, and anything more than recommended is just additional and serves no harm???

I'm assuming you have to go for a ride right away to distribute the product before it cures?
Yes, just follow the directions and good to go.

This video shows how well the stuff works.

Ok, I’m convinced. I’m ordering from Amazon with free same day delivery. While looking on the ride on site, I found the useage table, and some other good points:

I had heard of rideon before but never gave it a second thought. After this thread I'm going to add to to my tires this spring!

It’s in my bike. I bought the bike, ripped the wheel weights off and put in the ride on.

I've been using it for a long time. I always do the severe amount. I change my own tires and have never found it stuck on the wheel. It's great stuff in my experience.
