Default How To Eliminate 'Beard Forward' Updraft

I just installed a Klock Werks 12" Pro Tour Windshield on my 2016 Road Glide Special. For the first time, I'm getting beard in the face. Does Harley make a wind deflector that kills the updraft of wind?

The updraft is caused by a low pressure area behind the windshield. Can you tie the beard?

On the newer touring bikes the updraft comes from the tank not behind the fairing. Especially the newer bikes with the fairing vent. This can be felt by putting your hand in between the tank and the bottom of fairing and feeling the updraft.

Would fangs stop it or mitigate it?

I have the fangs and the under fork deflector on my '15 Limited.... beard goes straight forward. I always wondered if it's partly because of the toupack making like a scoop & pushing wind forward. I know I've had a bee fly over my shoulder & smack into the INSIDE of the windshield.

Your fairing does the same thing a cowl induction hood does on muscle cars. The fairing creates a negative pressure zone, causing your beard to be pulled forward. I never figured anything out to solve, and either trimmed my beard or wore a bandana to keep it back.
