Got one guy who rides a Scout at work and another on a big Chief I pass occasionally on the commute, that's it.

The guy across the street from me just bought a new Scout. He takes it out about every other day, revs the engine so people can hear him, and he's home again within 15 minutes. Without fail....

Nope not helping figures, but when a bike costs as much as a car, I'm not going to buy new either!

Guess he doesn't want to get it dirty...

When Harley makes bikes that are affordable and reliable people will buy then. Until then why should they buy them? I wouldn't.

I think if Harleys were half the price, Millenials still would not buy it. They are not even getting licenses! So cost does not really matter. All that would buy them are older people. Yes, dome Millenials would buy them yes, but a small number.

They need to be interested in being out and about without someone driving them around. Until then, all anybody says is conjecture.

maybe those are sumping too? There is an Indian Dealership 8mi from me near AkronCanton Airport, so around here out of 10 bikes, 3 will be Indians, 7 Harleys on the average day.

Millenials aren't the problem any more as far as sales go, they're approaching the age where buying are HD is within their scope.

Its the following generation that aren't buying, the i-Gen. They're even more pussified than the millennial were....

I am actually surprised at how many young people I see on bikes this summer. Seems more than in the past few years, but maybe I am just noticing them more. I see a lot of new Sporsters.
I see Indians from time to time, but far more Harleys than Indians between the 2 brands (lots of sport bikes and metric cruisers too). I saw more Indians when I was up in Colorado a month or so ago, but still more Harleys and others brands there too that I noticed in the week I was there.
