Look at it this way.. They're great jacks, we know that. I'd rather them keep building them to high standards and be backed up with orders, than rush and start making cheap quality sh*t just to meet demand.

Iceman24,
That's not totally true. I called them about mine failing and ended up having to e-mail them for a reply. Did everything thing
they recommended and did not work. He told me to e-mail (I think his Brother, but not sure) and he would handle it. He never
replied and e-mailed the first guy. A day later the second guy e-mailed and wanted me to do all the things I had already done.
Did those and did not work. His answer was to call the main number and order a new one at my expense. Did that and it did not work.
When I called and e-mailed for support no one returned my call.
I did what some others had done and ordered a different air operated bottle.
I love the jack but will never buy from them again because of the lousy customer service. Or lack of it. If you have a J&S Jack, love it but
get a different bottle if you have problems.

Why do some J&S's have black bottle jacks and some have gray. Do they use whatever they have in stock?

How are you guys getting your bottle jacks replaced out of warranty? I contacted them several years ago about mine leaking (after having it for a few years) and they said I could buy a new one off their site for $45. I went to Sears and bought an identical bottle jack for less than $20, had to drill two holes but that was it. I like the actual jack, it's just the bottle jack that sucks.. If your going to buy it just make sure you know they don't warranty the bottle jack for life, only two years. Also, the oil pan adapter is handy.

Funny thing is I have 2 harbor freight jacks ( 1 table 1 reg ) they are over 12 years old. at a fraction of the coast of an J&S jack and never had a problem with them . . And yes I have an J&S trike jack . With the motor cycle conversion kit. I would not buy another J&S .
