2500 miles on a "new to me" bike with spokes. One flat (rear) at about 1500 miles, so needed a new tube.

Spokes look great but, I'd prefer not to have them on my next bike.

Riding since 23MAR59 and 500K. One flat tire in 1968 (rear tire at 70 mph), and one in 2013 also a rear tire blow out at 55 mph.

So two flat tires in over 62 years and over a half million miles. Both were spooked rims. I thought that HD went with rim sealed spoked wheels in 2014. All mine since then have seated rims and no tubes.

Been on Harley's since the early '90's, and all but 2 of them were spoke wheels. Had 2 blowouts, and had nothing to do with spokes. One was because I was drunk, one was because I ran the rubber off of it. Few hundred thousand miles at least. Stop being a pusscake and just ****ing ride...

I’ve had 4 flats in year and a half. 2 on the same bike and 2 on others. One was yesterday on my Zx14R. New tire will get put on today.

I have no idea how many miles I have ridden since getting my license when I was 17, 51 now. Knock on something hard but I have yet to be stranded by one. I have come out to find flats, I have found debris, nails, screws and other road hazards embedded in the tires and had them replaced.

Interesting, I'll have to look into that.

Do you have magnets attached to your rims?
