With the emphasis on the word "he". Many times when you have a custom anything, it's usually appeals to the owner much more than other people.
That's me too.
About the only time I've seen any vehicle as an investment is a extremely limited edition, or a classic, or one owned by a celebrity, or used in movie. If I had that kind of money to spend on a motorcycle, it wouldn't be that one. I'd rather have a plain Harley once owned by Steve McQueen or something, or something used in a movie or tv show. Failing that, I'd customize a bike to look like something from a TV show or movie.
McQueens 1912 Harley went for 82 grand

But you got something in return for it, good health.

Crazy! But I suppose he's targeting some other guy who has more $$$ than he knows what to do with. To me, I'd rather enjoy the process of customizing my bikes, and hopefully spending a whole lot less doing so, rather than buying someone else's vision, but that's just me.

The last Ferrari 250 GTO to sell, went for 70 million dollars. Steve McQueen had one of those too. The next one that sells, is expected to hit 100 million dollars. It is, by far, the most valuable automobile in the world.
