Default Style vs. Power...what’s your priority?

Just curious as to what people see as priority...like the title says, Style or power. I know it’s likely a lot of “both”, but if you had to choose to lean one way(even just marginally), which would it be? Dress it up and keep it mostly stock? Max power all that matters?

No judgement! Just opinions and preferences...

let’s see what the common answer is! I know what I’m betting on lol

I have a 2000 Fat Boy for style and a 2017 CVO Street Glide for Power. Some days are Fat Boy days others are hit the throttle days. Definitely need both!

I went with style first. Gotta make the bike your own in the looks department. Power and handling came a bit later.

With this being said, performance shocks front and rear is the one mod I should have done years ago. Completely blown away with the difference in handling in the twisties.

we live and learn.

Style, to be honest if I was all about the power I would buy a different brand of bike for less money and twice the power

Does modding for comfort count as style?

Power on a Harley? Nah. I like traveling on my Electra Glide. The looping pace adds to the pleasure.

if I want power, it ain't Harley. The only thing Harley on the AHDRA bikes are the decals.

I’m on an 883, and if anyone is liable to be looking for power, it’s guys like me. I’m not though. I threw some mufflers on it (everyone said “get full exhaust”), and maybe someday I’ll toss on an AC and a tuner but really I’m good with it! I love my bike and I ain’t got a single problem making her go!

Yep.
I agree.
The Japanese are pumping out 200 hp per 1,000cc.
The newer 1300, 1400cc bikes also have about 140 ft. Pounds if torque.
For me. I wouldn't add stress to a pushrod engine that already does what it does very well.

Neither

Comfort is more of a priority, style, then power.
