Had an uncle in western N.Y. that was one of the first dealers for Ski-Doo in the early 1960's, a lot of people looked at him and said "Red, those will never sell", the rest is history.
I had a neighbor in 1964 or 65 that bought a brand new ski doo ,it was the first sled I ever got a ride on. And I am from western New York maybe he bought it from your uncle.
A couple years after that, the first sled I drove was an H D thru a cornfield without enough snow. On what looking back was a very primitive machine. It was both scary and exilerating. Nothing like today’s machines
