I haven't seen anyone out on a standard FXDR yet. I know my dealer has sold at least 2 of them, but it's the wrong time of year for people to be out on expensive bikes. But you're right, not likely to see one like this unless at a bike show.

Harley isnt allowed to make a bike like that thanks to the government.

I like it! The price, not so much. But yes, get this in the mid 20s, and they would sell tons!

Well, if you build on your own, it´s not that you´ll need 50 grands for such a project.
1k Fender, maybe 400 seat, 350 chin spoiler, 1.4k Airride (or cheaper lowering), the exhaust is expensive - but some short shots would do a good job here, too
And maybe add 1k for all the rest like Sidemount, Lightning-stuff, handlebar clip-ons and another grand for the paint. (or 3-5k for epic custom paints)

If you like fork & swingarm of the FXDR, this is a good deal compared to the FXBRS.
Here´s a "light version" of it for 35k : https://www.thunderbike.de/gebraucht...tion-tb-umbau/

For some reason it reminds me a bit of Black Death, the FXR from HD & the Marlborough Man movie.

I sent them an email inquiring about the exhaust, it can be ordered for the low price of 3100 euros, that's about 3600 US. I do love the look of that exhaust, I'm inquiring with local pipe shops to see if we can create something similar to it for my FXDR.

You might find that the Thunderbike pipe is EPA compliant and won't void your powertrain warranty. It's certainly priced around the same as other EPA compliant systems i've seen Thunderbike and Cult Werk use on other bikes.

Oh I have no doubt Mark, if they are anything like Mercedes (own a c- coupe), it's quality work

I just don't see throwing down $3600 on an exhaust. $1500-2000 on a custom (not bolt on) exhaust I could see.
