Do you think the MoCo reads any of this?

That would be much better than where everyone suggests I stick mine when I ask.

I used to be pretty heavily involved in a Subaru forum. They actually had guys that were pretty high up in product development, marketing and customer relations actively participate on the board. Could be why Subaru is one of the top selling car brands today.
Im not saying Harley has people hired to surf this forum, but I’m sure people from corporate check in here every so often, even if it is to just check the temperature of the room.

Do I think factory reads this? Some may.
Do I think they take any actions? What do you think? Have you seen any complaints/bitches/concerns addressed?
Will I change the way I post if I knew they read this? No. I would continue to complain about problems and brag about good things.
In all, we are just another group who has a bitch session daily about something. And most do not care.
But this makes for some interesting thoughts and reading!!!

There are some H-D employees that read this forum, but they do it as private individuals and not because H-D tells them to. The reason that we don't hear from them or identify to us as H-D employees is that, they as individuals, do not have the authority or reach to fix things that are discussed on this forum. If they identified themselves as HD employees, some people here would abuse them and go to them every single time a dealer did something wrong, every time that their bike hiccuped, and worst of all, they would demand/expect a response and a resolution from that individual every single time that they had an issue. Very few H-D employees have that kind of power, and of those that do, they value their time too much to hang around here. It is unfortunate that H-D doesn't have a public relations group that officially responds to negative experiences. instead, they rely on their dealership network for feedback on the public's experience (good/bad) with their product.
This doesn't mean that our (good) ideas/suggestions are not brought up at meetings or discussed internally. Remember that H-D is a huge company and they move very, very slow. If they acted on one of our ideas/suggestions today, it would be a few years before we saw it in production or even heard of it publicly.
