Confidence can be a double edged sword. Be careful, not cocky.

A couple of years ago, I was on the Alternate Hwy 50 in Utah when I was caught in a brief downpour, the smell of the desert blooms mixed with the fresh rain smell was intoxicating and the insects that swarmed reminded me quickly of reality!!

That's a whole lotta stuff that happened in just 8 days. Not telling you what to do, but slow down a bit till you get your feet wet, and pay attention to the small things. I'm not saying that to be a dick, just don't want you to die or bin it on day 10.

There’s one stoplight I don’t mind waiting at here. It’s right next to a BBQ place. Smells awesome. Go by every day on my commute
gratz on the new ride.

Excellent. Been riding for just shy of 40 years now and still get those feelings. I hope they last for you as well.
Also I don't know if you're old enough to remember Svengoolie: BERWYN?!?!?!?!!!!!!!
