Default Duel front discs for Dyna Switch Back 2014

Hi Guys, I customized my Dyna switchback by adding a number of body parts such as a fairing, rear luggage box basically turned the bike into a touring model.
I would like to fit duel discs to my front wheel. What do I need to do to make this happen.
Cheers

The parts list from a 2015 and up FXDL has what you need.

Switchback has 41mm forks, so that's a no-go.

41mm touring model legs & front wheel would be the only choice, along with a front fender due to the different fender mount placement.

You need to check out the center to center of the fork tubes on a pre-2014 (2013 down to 2000) FLT than you will need to get another wheel. You are going to be challenged as the triple tree is not the same as I have a Switchback nacelle. The rest of the story gets much more complicated. Good luck and loose the meaning of the word easy.

Have you considered putting a larger rotor on to increase braking performance?

Pretty much as Carl mentions above ... FLD uses 41mm tubes

and same fork tube centers as "Touring" (9-7/8")

So use everything from Touring
*2000-13 sliders (41mm)
*2000-later Touring wheel, (change bearings, center spacer sleeve and add bearing shim as needed depending on what year the donor wheel is from)
*2008-later Touring wheel spacers
*2013-earlier Touring fender
*And of course ... appropriate Dual master cyl, brakelines, calipers, rotors, etc

Here's a look at a FLD frontend (happens to be on a FXD... doesn't matter) with everything stated above.
The Right Touring Slider has had the caliper mounts "Shaved", but they could have remained and been used the way you want.

It would be easier with the same results to go with a 6 piston caliper and larger rotor. Check out Performance Machine.
