I will post this in the technical section as well, but I was wondering if any of you haveinstalled L.E.D. lights on your bike before. I am interested in buying the small L.E.D.'s that replace the screw heads on the license plate holder. They come in a pair and do not require a load equalizer since I am not replacing any of the existing lights and only tapping in to the existing wiring for low voltage. As I understand it I can run them as brake lights, running lights, turn signals and even running/brake. My purpose is only to run them as running lights. Any experience or advice you can offer would be great.

I used them on a metric I had after I put a side-mount plate holder on it. All I did wassplice them into the original harness for the license plate lights. Simple to do.

Easy and a fast thing to do.
Just splice them into your license plate light, that way they will come on when it is on, and the wire run won't be that long and hard to hide.
Also pay attention to the wiring, some LED's are "polarity specific" so you need to wire them correctly.
If they are "polarity specific", one wire will have a white line running down it and that is your "positive"
