A nice 175 miles loop. Switched to mesh jacket cause temps were in mid 80s.

 

Blowing Rock Inn. Been staying there 25 years, but like most Harley dealers around here, no longer family owned. It still works for me though.

Missed a shower by seconds, but not the soaked wet road for miles to trash the shinny sheeit

Little over 200 to Gatherings of the Nortons event then meandering along the Delaware River though some old towns.

 

Dang, how could parents allow that to happen. I hope it all cleaned up without any damage.

 

105 miles! which took me exactly 5 miles over my 5k mile oil change

 

First time in quite a while I caught good weather and at not traveling for work. So a quick trip to see the kids racked up a 760 mile round trip.

 

Rode to Outer Banks Bike Week Friday-Sunday. Ride out started at 49 degrees and cloudy. Went to Nags Head where we met Jerry from Law Tigers and Lincoln from Carolinas Full Throttle Magazine. Then down to Hatteras Lighthouse. Back up to Kill Devil Hills for a couple $2 mystery beers at Longboards, then back down to Nags Head for the night. The ride Friday was cold, windy, sandy but better than being at work! Saturday was just some riding around Nags Head and up to Harbinger for the bike show. Sunday ride home was much warmer, not as windy and uneventful. Friday 317 miles, Sat 42 miles, Sunday 227 miles.
