Sturgis
Just got back from Sturgis last night at 11:00pm, after taking off on 3-4 hours of sleep at 8:30am. With all the noise and partying going on at the campground, it is impossible to sleep before 4:00 in the morningany day. My ride was 900 miles from the Buffalo Chip to my parents house in IL, which added another 100 miles from what it would have been had I stopped in Madison, WI and the Softail Custom performed flawlessly. ZZ Top kicked azzzzz, Velvet Revolver was great, even playing some oldG&R tunes, and the weather there was hot and sunny. Mydigital sucks withpics in low light, sothe pics I've got are of the tame variety. It is definitely worth the trip out there for all considering going in the future.

RE: Sturgis
Some national monuments, of the geological variety anyways, though there were plenty of other physical monuments on display during the night.

And finally some of the Presidents. Mount Rushmore up close is one of the neatest man-made things I've ever seen. Beautiful setting also.

I like Crazy Horse better, but then I'm a contrarian SOB.

RE: Sturgis
Glad you had a good time and returned safely. Sure wish I could have made it. Next year I will be there. I don't care if it costs me a divorce and my job. LOL
