That sucks. How did your buddy make out?
I use a CPAP too and I know the feeling. Me and the Missus went camping one time and I got to the campground and discovered I had forgot to put the CPAP in the camper.
I ended up driving 5 hours round trip to go home and get it after just driving 2 1/2 hours to get to the campsite.

This is a good reminder to make a list of items to take on the journey and check them off as you load them.
Also it’s best to preload the bike just to make sure you know where everything needs to go.
My Son and I take a bike trip every year.
I have one of two list I use year after year; a camping list and a hotel list.
Obviously there’s a lot of the same stuff on both list but they are different list.
If we’re camping there’s more stuff to take and certainly more strategic loading that takes place.
If we’re staying in hotels there’s a lot less to take.
I’m thinking that last year may likely be our last camping trip as at age 60 getting off the floor of a tent is getting much harder.
Also my wallet is a bit thicker now so putting down money on a hotel is much easier.
However I will certainly miss the adventures we’ve had on the trips where we camped.
Hotels even though more comfortable take away some of the raw adventurous feeling of being on the open road.
