Default 24 Models

"If history repeats itself, we will see all the new touring models in 2024 with a VVT M8 engine. I do not think they will make a lower displacement engine than the 121. Maybe the 121 becomes the standard and the CVO models have a 128 VVT. Yeah, I like that idea." "Then of course we will see the inverted forks, brakes and big screen become standard in order to both sell models and minimize multiple different components."

Well.if your predictions are correct.. What do you predict the base MSRP will be ?

2023 was an odd year for CVOs as there were two different introductions. The first CVO was introduced in January, and was the "old" style, but with breathtakingly gorgeous paint.

Then there was a second round of CVOs in mid-year, with the revised fairings, VVT, and new forks and dash.

So yeah, I predict there will be a least one more CVO introduction in January, to at least equalize the model offerings.

My Top 10 predictions for 2024:
1 - Many will continue to buy a new Harley every few years.
2 - Most will bitch and moan on why a new 2024 Harley doesn't cost the same as the one we bought in 1997.
3 - Several will continue to label every dealership a "Stealership" or "Rip-Off".
4 - Lots will continue to predict when Shoe Boy will will cause Harley to go under.
5 - Dozens will continue to bash every new model or models we don't own.
6- A few will continue to create threads about the quality and price of Tee-Shirts.
7 - The older guys will continue to reflect on the "Good ole days of Harley".
8 - One or two of us new guys will continue to love the brand!
9 - Most threads will turn into name calling around post 5.
10 - The Greatest Motorcycle brand of all time will continue to iterate, innovate, and bring exciting new models to the market.

Other than those 10, I have no idea what the actual bikes will have in the way of Motors, Displacement, Tech, or Colors.

I will however keep watching to see what Harley does with the ST lineup. Taller, colors, more aggressive/better suspension, tech, etc.

The all new ParkwayGlide will feature a 117 vvt and a Baker designed 9 speed dual clutch transmission and gear drive primary. A fat front tire will be standard along with a memory foam/gel seat to soak up bumps and life’s irregularities.

I wonder if HD will produce a Sport Touring bike on the Pan America "platform". They may have had something like this in mind when they designed the Pan America. This would minimize the need for a lot of retooling.

Sport touring is dead as a category, basically replaced by adventure touring.

They will add a hole in the helmets for the youngsters to rock their man buns while riding. That, and color matcehd bikes and sneakers.

Nope. In the last 2 years, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Moto Guzzi released brand spanking new sport tourers. BMW and Yamaha continue selling the RT, XR and FJR. Suzuki just announced a sweet upright, roomy sport tourer as the S1000GX. The Tracer and Versys are arguably sport tourers. Certainly, mid-size Advs are the hot sellers, but sport touring is alive and well.

I wouldn't think so. I think the new 975cc model could be a great addition to the Pan America line. I have a KTM 1190 Adventure and then bought a KTM 790 Adventure thinking smaller would be better. I think the 975 will hit the sweet spot "IF" the PA can shed a bit of weight. The big win for the PA is the Adaptive Ride Height for us short Adventure riders. If they can work out the first few year bugs, I will be trading both my KTMs for the PA with ARH (1250 or 975)

I don't have sales figures in the US, but here in my area (SF Bay Area) the ST Models sell really well by proof the dealers can add $3,000 markups and people paid that when the STs first came out. The Low Rider ST, Street Glide ST, and RG ST all seem to sell really well.

.
Credit to Milwaukee for bring first to implement ARH. Ducati and BMW have embarrassingly copied the move. The first to market advantage is gone.
