I was shocked to see that they didn't offer lower fairings or a tourpack on any model other than the Limited Road Glide.

Seems like that extra storage would be a desirable regardless of fairing shape, but what the hell do I know?
they do offer the tourpacks for the cvos both in whiskey neat and dark platinum.

Harley is pushing their high profit bikes.
Sales volume is down. To keep investors happy they are flooding dealers with CVO's.

Perhaps they will rebrand the 2023 SG CVO as the "Slow Johnie"

Cycle Trader shows over seven hundred CVO Street and Road Glides using model year 2023. Now that likely picks up some of the anniversary 2023 Road Glide Ultras as well but how many of them should be left? Do they even sell in the face of the new CVOs?

I like the repainted bikes, it puts the C in CVO.

It is interesting how the CVO line has evolved. If you think back to the first years of the CVOs there was so much detail. Frames were painted to match the base color of the bike. The bikes were hand assembled and you could always see what set a CVO apart, and no one thought of having to repaint them for them to sell.
Finally someone who actually knows some facts, lol. All sheet metal parts for CVO’s are made in York then shipped to Gunslinger for paint then returned to York for assembly on the production line with the other models. Likewise the plastic parts for CVO’s are made in Wisconsin then sent to Gunslinger for paint then to York. Years ago the CVO’s were entirely assembled in special work cells of five people who would each sign the certificate.
