Default R.I.P. Brother - Motorcycle accident Thibodaux Louisiana

Lost a Brother, friend and co-worker Thursday @ 6am as he was on his way to work. Tony Mire of Thibodaux Louisiana, 52 years old and gone way too soon.
According to reports he failed to yield. (Definitely not a believer with it being Tony). Me "absolutely", but not Tony in a no traffic area and early enough (dark) driving by lights.
Tony was an avid HD rider with several iron butt days (1000 miles).
Him and his wife (she was on her own Streetglide) rode the 4 corners of the country and covered about 13k miles, if I remember correctly in 22 days.
They made many trips all over the country as a family, as his daughter and son both rode with them on their own Harleys. Both kids had their own HDs by 16 years of age or so and they are all HD riding enthusiasts thru and thru.

Tony and his bike are in far left in each of these picture. Wearing helmet pict, is him talking to his father who also road with his family. I was riding with him in these pictures as was his brother, another HD enthusiast.

R.I.P. brother and pray you are riding with the best up there. 👆🙏🙏🙏

I've never been hit that hard and I hope it never happens again but you have to get back on that horse.

Sorry for your loss Bayou, prayers for the family.
I saw that on Biker Down La., Troop C reports still under investigation, that's a wide open area right there, could that sign have blocked view in any way, say if a headlight was out?

That is a tough loss. Very sorry to hear these circumstances.

I try to be nice and live right because it could all be gone in the blink of an eye.

His obit was really a well thought out and truly nice tribute to his life.
