Default Best replacement bottle jack (J&S)?

Well, after 15 years of service, I think its time to replace this one. Couldn't get it to go all the way up to the last safety stop this morning. I'm aware there are a few threads on this, but I want to make sure I'm choosing the right one.

Also aware that I could refurb my existing one, but for under $50, I'm not going to f*ck with it.

I've narrowed it down to 2, which one is best? Or is there one that's better than either of these two? I think an important factor is the ability to drill the hole in the right place.

This:
Amazon Amazon

Or this (doesn't look like enough space to drill the mounting hole?)
Amazon Amazon

TIA!

another consideration. when i replaced the bottle jack on my j&s, i used one that i bought locally from harbor freight. come to find out that even though there was plenty of room to drill a hole in the base plate, but there was a shortage of height. the harbor freight jack was just a tad too tall which prevented the jack from being able to lower completely. my bike being a rgs with the 12'' shocks, it kept it from being able to slide in under the frame.

Why does no one just rebuild the old jack? Cheap and easy. SMH.

Got instructions, parts list and/or video? I'm always willing to learn.

The jack will no longer raise up to the last safety stop. Is this all I need to do?

I replaced mine a few years ago with this bottle jack, no drilling involved. Bolted right on and has worked flawlessly for 4 years.

If the only issue is it's not lifting as high as it used to just add some hydraulic fluid.
