I just got off the phone with ACC. I told them the straps were severely skewed and before I could even offer to email the pics to them, I was promised that a new helmet would be shipped out ASAP and that I would be receiving a return label to ship the faulty helmet back to them. Can't ask for better customer service than that!! These things happen, and as long as they are willing to correct the mistake I'm happy.
Just wanted to post an update for anyone else considering a purchase of a carbon fiber helmet. I'll follow up with one more post once the replacement arrives.

I do like mine..Comfortable,no wind lifting it up.looks good, and lite.......Nice people..Took mine six weeks to get here .Thats the bummer..
are they nice helmet s i have to find a good dot for work what do they look like on your head and are they lighter

wow, the quality control inspector must have been sleeping during that one. that's not even in the ballpark. Mine's not exactly perfect but pretty darn close.

Yes, its normal if your left ear is almost on the back of your head, the crap being imported into this country is unbelievable.

...acc helmets are made of carbon fiber and kevlarby handin orlando fl...nobodys perfect 100% of the time but that was way off. mineare aboutperfect.

If you have a carbon fiber helmet from ACC, please take a look at yours and compare to mine. If you notice in the picture, the straps are much further back on the left side of the picture than on the right. Also, compare the spaces between the straps on the left and the right (where I'm pointing). When I put the helmet on, my ear fits in the space between the straps on the right side, but because the straps are so close on the left, they completely cover my ear on the left side. Before I call ACC, I wanted to see if this was indeed how all the helmets are made or if I happened to get a dud. Thanks!

I was thinking of buying one of these, but after looking at that, I may reconsider.
Pretty pricey to have quality like that slip through the inspectors.[8D]

My wife put her helmet on backerds the other day so that helmet might just work for her.
