Got it at 23.
Had ridden in the dirt for several years prior to that.

I learned to ride my dadsTriumph Tiger Cubwhen I was 9, he bought me my first bike, a Hodaka Super Rat a year later, been riding ever since. I got my m/c licence at 16 on a Bultaco ISDT Matador

 

Got my street license 31 years ago, when I was 18. Had extensive off-road experience prior to that.

 

Permit at 15 and License at 16 Californa laws

 

Started riding before you needed a M indorsment,at 19 years old.Been riding ever since,41 years now and injoying every minute .

 

Got mine at 32...almost exactly a year ago.

 

was riding a lil 5hp home-made mini bike at 10 or so, got my 1975 honda XL100 and the Tx. DPS under 100cc permit when I was 15, then in 1976 on my 16th b-day, I went an bought a bran new kawasaki KZ650, and went an took the test for my Motorcycle also.

My ole man wouldnt let me buy that used, awesome emerald green 1972 750 triple, after seein me ride wheelies on that sucker down jacksboro hwy. WOOHOO that dawg would fly.

LOL was looking and found some pix of a honda xl 100 hahahaha almost 33 years ago, man I wish I still had that lil bike.

dont remember sometime in early 70,s state made it a law.went to take the test on 56pan chopper jockey shift cops giving the test watched me dodge two dummies backing out of spaces stop for a lady pushing a baby carriage and park the old ride, walked up to me and told me i passed but not to tell anyone what i was riding cause it wouldnt pass safety insp. [no front brake or fender]

 

I was 22... not a very good age fora motorcycle license. Motorcycles and bars at the same time... and new at it all too.... BAD..

Ten years later and at least I am better at one of them......
