Default honestly - do you rev at stop lights

again - all the talk of load pipes and such - and reving and such

i rev at stop lights - don't red line it or nothing - but i do rev

i think it might be the clutch thing - because i will rev cars with a clutch - hard to do with an automatic in gear - yeh even there put it in neutral - but not very often

why do i rev
- sometimes for the sound
- sometimes playing with another biker
- sometimes to like steady it or something
- most times just to get ready to go, like practicing till i let the clutch out

then when i get home i overrev for awhile in the garage where the echo is good - and call it juvenile, dump, stupid, vindictive, whatever - i do it to aggrevate my neighbors - but believe me - if you met them you would rev too - but that really isn't the point of this post

Total waste of gas and needless wear and tear on the engine. Makes no sense to load your cylinders with gas and wash down the cylinder walls. That creates heat and wear. Senseless and juvenile.

Trying hard to stop. Habit I got from owning carb bikes, I guess, and I know I don't hafta do it with EFI. I catch myself doing it on downshifting, too.
