Shouldnt have been to hard... remember he was looking for points for it, and the War Correspondent told him that jeep points work on the Indian Scouts.

 

Man, I loved that show. Nothing like it now a days. The last season was a little warped, but the rest were great. MASH, Goodbye, Farewell, Amen... I'll admit it, I cried!

 

The last couple seasons were contrived. The cast was looking so much older for a show that takes place over only a couple years.

The first few years was madcap, zany antics, and Hawkeye chasin' women. Clever, funny writing. As BJ Hunnicutt came along, the writing started getting preachy, anti war, in other words 60's thinking (and writing)in a war that took place in the early 50's. I did like Sherman Potter. "Mulemuffins!" and Charles Emerson Winchester.

Sometimes overacted, sometimes smarmy, MASH made me laugh time and time again. I have the DVD's up to the seventh season.

The last episode was a let down for me. I thought it could have been written better for a better ending.

 

i love mash the early episodes. that is when they were the funniest. after frank burns left and harry potter was there and charles it kinda went to serious. it is still the best show ever

 

i saw the original movie at the theater when i got back from Vietnam. i took a female high school junior with me. i'm laughing all the way thru and it went way over her head. LOL.

 

it was a great show . i did see the movie that was wild . poor frank it did change thru the years. but hell dont we all.
