The rear cam bearing issue is a very real possibility You need to address. As stated above there is a hgher than normal failure rate.
That isn't quite the full story, as there are still lots of low mileage bikes like yours out there.
The truth is that virtually all Twin Cam engines built before December 14, 1999 will fail if driven far enough.
Some fail at less than 20,000 miles. When it goes, and it will eventually, it could cause catastrophic engine failure.
Have the update done and enjoy the bike.

Nice looking bike, low miles....bought from a buddy....
I'd say when you're still riding that sucker in five years you won't even be worried about what you paid.

Don't worry about it. You already own it and rest assured it is one of the best bikes Harley makes. In the meantime just ride the heck out of it and enjoy!!!!!!
