when are you not a newbie?
just wondering...
I picked up my bike in may 2007, and yes it's only been a few months, coming on 6 months to be exact. But within these few months I have went over 5600 miles on my street bob. This past weekend I put in 549 miles of it on a ride to Joshua tree, was pretty sweet, and to my eyes thats a lot of miles for a weekend...
so am I still considered a newbie?

RE: when are you not a newbie?
I can see the idea behind "ask me in 25 years", however that's not realy fair either. I got my first bike at age 12. I'm now 50. I've been riding mostall my life. Although I sold my 82 BMW and quit riding for a few years. I've only been piloting a Harley for the last year. So I guess it's how you look at it.
