What did he do wrong?
I came across this video and as a new rider I'm trying to figure out what caused this guy to go off the road?. My guess is one of the problems is that he braked in the curve. Any ideas.

I dont know, maybe passing on a double yellow line, at too fast of a speed on a blind corner on a bike designed for cruising. Maybe thats where the problem started.

My guess would be target fixation. He was looking at the wrong place and there he went. And the second bike was watchingn the first rather than the road. So they both made a mistake.

My buddy andI have ridden that road (Dragon?)and it is scary,
My bud panicked and went into a ditch on the right side of a left hand turn,
Kept it up but had weeds all over his footpegs,
Those turns are sharp,

I think so too. He was more concerned about passing then the road ahead, never should have been passing in the first place.

RE: What did he do wrong?
that video has surfaced before and it was taken on the tail of the dragon
if you notice the cage was just ideling along sight seeing , taking their own sweet time
and when the bikes came around the corner they had thier choice they could of crashed into the cage or go around it had nothing to do with inexperience it was a slow moving cage in the road
