Default re-badging

I'm planning to buy an FLHT in the near future. I've gotten the idea of putting a Duo Glide badge on the front fender. Would this be heresy? Or is it just a stupid idea?[sm=alcoholic.gif]

Do as YOU want. That is the beauty of owning an HD, make it your own.

Whatever floats your boat dude. My neighbor wants to get a Sportster but is hung up on the tank badge. I showed him sites to buy new badges for it and now he's sold.

I do, however, have a friend with a Silver Wing who wants to put the HD emblem on it, and I told him that would be heresy.

Here's what I did to my front fender. I removed the UltraClassic badge and substituted ElectraGLide. Then I got rid of the orange fender tip for a widows peak and had it pinstriped around it.
