Default History of tank emblems?

I was looking for a history of HD tank emblems, but had no luck.
Can anybody point me to a link with the full history and pics?

http://www.vtwinmfg.com/Catalog1/VTwinCatalogIndex1.htm
Couldn't get the actual page url to paste. So, click the link, then click on the green multi-fit section. Once there, scroll down to "E", emblems, then click on the page # 1141.
As to the actual history of them, not sure where to turn for that. Also, if you have a J&P catalog, they also havethe sameselection of emblems, but likewise no history. You could attempt to call or email John Parham, owner of J&P, they have a tremendous amount to do with the motorcycle museum there in Anamosa, and he or they may be able to steer you to the history part. Good luck. My personal favorite is the 40-46 emblem with the tank trim on it also. Makes for a really sharp set up. The guy I just bought my 78 FLH from, redid his tanks on an 07 Heritage with the 40-46 badges, and painted the bike black, with a little white and red like the ol' knuckleheads and then put on the oval floorboards.SUPER sharp set up on a "new" bike.

I like the 48--50 emblem. but I don't know where you would find the history of em. you can check out j&p and see the list and what years each emblem were mounted.

Too bad they don't have all the emblems. They are missing mine.
