Hey guys, I have been trying to hunt down where I can get the Springer Classic fuel tank emblems. I have looked all over the net and cannot find a damn thing on them! I have so far found out that no one sells them online.
I am deployed at the moment, so I don't have the luxury of going into the dealership and asking them about it. Can one just walk into the HD shop and purchase these? I have an idea of something I would like to do with my tank and these would be awesome! I would have to do some work on them though to customize them to my liking.
This would also mean that I will most likely be scrapping, giving away or even turning my current tank emblems into something cool. Any ideas?
I have attached pics of the tank trim/emblems I am looking for. Cheers!
Looked it up in the 2007 parts book, last year they made that springer ...
Partnumber:
62224-05 - Nameplate, left (for vivid black, black cherry pearl, black pearl, olive pearl; 2-tone olive pearl & vivid black, fire red pearl & black pearl tanks)
14831-05 - Nameplate kit, with trim strip, & 62224-05
62225-05 - Nameplate, right (for vivid black, black cherry pearl, black pearl, olive pearl; 2-tone olive pearl & vivid black, fire red pearl & black pearl tanks)
14832-05 - Nameplate kit, with trim strip, & 62225-05
Most online dealers can get this for you. The nameplate kits are about $95 each online. I was thinking of getting them when I remodeled my xbones.

YES!!! Thank you so much! This has been killing me for the past few days! So since I cannot see any pics of what I would be getting (the sites that do sell these don't have pics of ecactly what it is, just a short description) would I have to pick up all 4 Part #s or just the two kits (14831-05 & 14832-05)? LSHD1 has them for a pretty damn good price.
I would snag this, if not for the fact that the emblem on the left side is pretty scratched up. I can buy the kit for both sides for about $130 from LSHD1, so I think I will go with them. Thanks for the link though!
