Default Where can I get this tank emblem?

Hey guys, I have been trying to hunt down where I can get the Springer Classic fuel tank emblems. I have looked all over the net and cannot find a damn thing on them! I have so far found out that no one sells them online.

I am deployed at the moment, so I don't have the luxury of going into the dealership and asking them about it. Can one just walk into the HD shop and purchase these? I have an idea of something I would like to do with my tank and these would be awesome! I would have to do some work on them though to customize them to my liking.

This would also mean that I will most likely be scrapping, giving away or even turning my current tank emblems into something cool. Any ideas?

I have attached pics of the tank trim/emblems I am looking for. Cheers!

I have, but no luck. They have the really old Harley emblems that are similar, but not the one I am looking for.

You can still get it from the dealerships.

Looked it up in the 2007 parts book, last year they made that springer ...

Partnumber:

62224-05 - Nameplate, left (for vivid black, black cherry pearl, black pearl, olive pearl; 2-tone olive pearl & vivid black, fire red pearl & black pearl tanks)

14831-05 - Nameplate kit, with trim strip, & 62224-05

62225-05 - Nameplate, right (for vivid black, black cherry pearl, black pearl, olive pearl; 2-tone olive pearl & vivid black, fire red pearl & black pearl tanks)

14832-05 - Nameplate kit, with trim strip, & 62225-05

Most online dealers can get this for you. The nameplate kits are about $95 each online. I was thinking of getting them when I remodeled my xbones.

YES!!! Thank you so much! This has been killing me for the past few days! So since I cannot see any pics of what I would be getting (the sites that do sell these don't have pics of ecactly what it is, just a short description) would I have to pick up all 4 Part #s or just the two kits (14831-05 & 14832-05)? LSHD1 has them for a pretty damn good price.

Just the 2 kits will do.
The trim and emblem have sticky tape on the back.

And yes, LSHD has good prices, used to get all my stuff from them until they were no longer allowed to sell international.

Thanks for the link though! I will keep my eye out for some more of them if they pop up later on down the road.
