I like twin cam hot rod bikes but still havent got too put mine together( and sporties because of the four cams). I got a 95 almost complete sitting on the self but am reluctant because i only have 7k on new top end replaced by harley due to warranty. I figure i got atleast 8 k more left before it goes bad again

I just got rid of a 1963 pan chopper that I'd had for 25+ years. foot clutch jockey shift, Kick,w/ advance and retard distributor, pts and condenser, open 3 inch belt, ape hangers,etc.. and screw all that antiquated technology. I wouldn't mind having a bar hopper next to the Ultra but something along the lines of old school look with modern technology. I don't think HD has totally captured that old school look with modern technology machine. They're close with the heritage, rocker and crossbones. I think sportsters look the best on a rigid frame all stretched and raked.

All the vibration of a true rigid may present a challenge for reliability. Vibration has to go some where.

If I could win the lottery and din't have to work and my work was my machines no problem. But I work 50-60 hours a week and I would rather be riding then wrenching, especially now that I am older.

1963 Pan, rigid frame, 21 over springer. That was my first bike in 1968. To this day I wish I divorced her instead of selling it. Now they are both gone. I want that bike back.

Wouldnt matter if i was rich or not, still would put my own "OLD SCHOOL" bikes together. I would just have more of them. I love the looks of the Panheads but know more about shovels so thats what I ride....

I wouldn't mind building something like one of these.
