I'm taking a motorcycle engine overhaul class and looking for a project for class. Just wondering if anyone might know where to get a cheap busted engine. I'm in So Cal and was hoping to keep it cheap 'cause of books, tools, parking, etc[:@]. Thanks in advance...

Got a Vulkan 800 motor in a bike I am parting out
its a V-Twin ...... low compression on front cyclinder and no compression on rear

 

What year? Only because I need to see if I will be able to find parts for it... and how far north are north are you?

 

this one is a 2000 I also have a complete service manual (Dealer Manual)
I also have a 1999 that is in peices I am needing the motor reassembled (all there just bagged and taken apart)
I am parting out the 2000 and restoring the 1999 proably going to put a Volex side hack on it

 

oh and I am up in the Vallejo area but could meet you half way
