A different kind of bike
Well, paid off the RKC this week (two years early), and thinking of buying something a little different. Anyone have any experience with the Yamaha Raptor 700 quad. I live about two hours from the Glamis sand dunes and thought it my be a kick to have one of these babies. I used to have a dirt bikebut this would be my first 4-wheeler. Wife has a jeep, so Ifigured its an activity we could do together. So, those of you that have one of these, what do you think of it, atwhat kind of deal can I expect to find on one?
Thanks,
Rick

Go with the Banshee........Two-Stroke twin with 250HP (without nitrous)potential. I see them run at the local dirt drag races......they are .2-second behind the fuel bikes!

RE: A different kind of bike
My dirt bike was a two-stroke, and I swore it would bemy last one. I'm not interested in being the fastest guy in the dirt, but I would like to be comfortable, and the bike shop guy described the Raptoras the "Cadillac of Quads".
