NE Florida. As said many country roads to ride, but watch out for the deer. They will kill you.

Arizona doesn't sound bad, but I know a few riders out that way, and in the summer they refer to it as "Two Feet From Hell"...?

I think you honestly get used to it after a while. And it depends on what part of Arizona you're talking about. The Phoenix area and further south can certainly have tough summers, but the rest of the year more than makes up for it. No bugs, no natural disasters (earthquakes, hurricanes, etc.) that I'm aware of, all in all it has the best weather I've ever lived in.It's certainly not for everybody. A lot of people move here and realize very quickly that they can't handle the summers.

South Central Texas, around Kerrville, big VA hospital there, some great riding, 400 miles to Fort Davis and the observatory.

Screwball is dead on target........... Fl is OK, Georgia, Missippi and Alabama are good (lived down in GA for some years before) but dang it is HUMID. I'm a huge fan of Nevada, Utah and Arizona.. Hotter than hell sometimes, but wide open (good condition) roads.

What about the love bugs in FL? I'veread they are really bad when they are in season.
Followed by sand gnat season, mosquito season, tourist season, chigger season anddeer tick season.
