So my battery is about 3 years old now and I figured I'll get a new one before the riding season. I have been looking online and at a few catalogs and from what I remember that last mc battery I bought was like $45 at Fleet Farm. I have seen batteries ranging from $65-$255.

I guess I was wondering why the hell you would by a $255 battery? Are these for people that have nothing better to **** away money on or what?
I'm pretty sure the $60-70 battery works just fine.

 

Some folks must get a charge paying 255.00 for a battery!

 

Ultras use them, its a dual Cell battery, partstarting battery and part house battery(to run the freg and lights)

 

the last battery i bought i also got at fleet farm. it's a agm and i think i paid $78 for it.

 

Well, some batteries ARE better than others.

Ther higher priced ones probably have alot more lead in them and possibly spiral cells.

You get what you pay for.

 

I was at Sam's Club last weekend, they have an Interstate CycleTron battery for my 06 dyna for about $66, list price is $97 I think. It is the Absorbed Glass Mat sealed battery construction, 280 cca. Best price I have found so far.
