How the hell do I put an image in my signature? I've read the site instructions but I can't figure it out. Any help is appreciated.

 

Go to your profile and where you filled out the rest of your sig info, place the url for where ever the photo is located. Like Photobucket, or one of the others. Then put [img] in front of it, and [/img] behind it. Should make it show up. I need to do it too, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Hope this works for you.

 

Be sure that the [img] and [/img] tags are in lower case. The instructions don't make that clear and photobucket gives you upper case tags which will not work here.

 

I'll be damned also, because I still can't do it either.

Will someone please show us what the url is supposed to look like?

 

Looks something like this:

http://a##.photobucket.com/albums/g#.../thepictue.jpg

include that between the img tags.

 

right click and "copy" URL and then right click and "paste" the URL between the tags
[img]pasted URL[/img] <--- like that

 

You and me both cant get pic to come up ( url,image,paste) WTF LOL it took me 2 hours to get the avtar pic up,Good Luck

 

Don't feel bad man...I used my entire "vocabulary" trying to get the POS to work...one of the other members mentioned using lower case...that's where the disconnect was for me. Photobucket and the site instructions don't make that real clear( I guess you have to be a teenager to automatically understand that stuff)

 

Hey now, a teenager? That was 35 years ago. I do happen to do computer chit for a living though.

 

iN pHOTOBUCKET,click on the "direct link" under the picture, that copies it, then right click and paste it between the [img]'s
