I am in the market for Cheap Motorhome insurance
I bought a Toyota Dolphin Motorhome so my disabled wife can go to the rallies with me and wont have to camp on the ground so I need a place I can get a good rate as she will only use this thing 3 times a year proablly 2000 miles a year if we are lucky

Idea, Since my boat is only used during the summer, I don't have insurance on it the rest of the year. I also know that Cali requires insurance to register your vehicle. Find an insurance co that will issue a 6 month policy that hopefully lines up for when you want to use it and registration time. Just an idea.

 

I was thinking about a month to month policy and only insure it during July August and December

 

so far it looks like the AAA thing is the way to go
but I will have to add my wifes car so we can get quoted (good thing it is also time for her insurance renewal)

$41.00 for 6 months on motor home
$217.00 for her Toyota car 6 months
$334.00 for my Truck , staying with farmers for now
didnt even ask about the bike as it is insured through Progressive for $75.00 a year

 

Well--have ya heard of the good sam club? They have insurance for motorhomes and other.
Would'nt hurt to give a call. Insurance is becoming more competative these days it seems. just a thought.

 

Problem with month to month is after a while you get a 'reputation' because the agents get paid up front commision for the policy length. If you cancel before the end, they get pro-rated back (pay back the company). Burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me.
