This is funny - Newnan, GA Finally has a Bike Night
So my husband and I show upat Baja's in Newnan for Bike Night tonight. Newnan previously hasn't had much of one and we think it's great. And there are about 15 bikes there when we get there with a few more straggling in. Harleys and metrics. So the mother of the two guys who own the joint, comes out sees me and my husband and asks if we're here for the Bike Night ride and we say yes. And she looks at me, says Great! So where are you taking us? LMAO. So here I am, riding just a year and a half, and at the first Bike Night we show up for here in town and I wind up leading a dozen or so bikes on a back country roads ride. Too funny. Had a great ride; saw some beautiful countryside; ate dinner and played trivia. Fortunately, I've been riding with a great group of guys and gals, so do have some experience in a group situation, know the hand signals and all so it was fine. Had probably about 40 bikestotal show up for the night which isn't bad for our small town. Had a great time. Just got back a little while ago. The smells of the cherry blossoms and Kudzu blooming on the ride home was lovely. Great night.

Guess they didn't want to publicize it much? Might of had a bigger turn out if they told more folks in Columbus. I didn't see anything at the dealer here in Columbus... guess there was something at the one in La Grange?

They just opened up in October and are still trying to get the word out. We had noticed the place had opened up off the 34 Bypass in Newnan, after the Cajun place it previously was closed down, so decided to give it a try and had no idea about it either until we showed up Sat. night to hear the band play and there were bikes parked out front. Couple of young guys own the place and seem to be making a good go of the place. It was friendly, good music, reasonable prices and the food was pretty good. Great menu. We'll go back. Come up and join us some time. My husband is out of town next Wed. but me and a girlfriend of mine who also rides her own will probably go.

About the meanest thing I can think of to do to somebody would be to sneak onto their property under the cover of night and plant kudzu! [:@]
